History

It all began more than 40 years ago.

WoodCare Denmark A/S was founded more than 40 years ago by Ib Moeller, whose ancestors from Skagen used the driftwood from the many wrecks of that time on Skagens Odde. Among other things, the wood was made into furniture and flooring planks.

At the beginning, the range consisted of stairs and wooden floors. Later on, furniture became part of the range. For the basic treatment, care and maintenance of wood, lye, soap and different oil products were developed.

In 2004, WoodCare Denmark A/S became an independent company with focus on care and maintenance of wood. Today, the range includes an abundant selection of products for care, maintenance and renovation of indoor - as well as outdoor wood. Furthermore, in the range there is a programme of lacquers with matching lacquer care products. Therefore, the range both turns to the private consumer and the professional floor fitter.

Together with our products for the parquet- and furniture industry, our range makes up a system of products that carefully match each other. All the surface treatment products are developed with the respect for wood as a natural raw material and are contributing to increase the final properties of the products in order to create a pleasant indoor climate with as little damage to the environment as possible.

The products are launched as the brand WOCA.

On 1st of September 2007, as part of our expansion, WoodCare Denmark A/S took over a turn key factory of 5000 square metres. Purchasing this factory, WoodCare Denmark has secured itself the necessary capacity to realize its future development- and growth strategy.
